Have followed your musings for years on The Gadgeteer, and like the new site!

Have been thinking about switching to 'the dark side' for a while having been a long time Psion and then Palm user (Psion 5Mx, Psion Revo, Palm m515, Palm T|T, Palm T|3, Palm T|X). The Hermes looks like it has the makings of a great PDA/Smartphone.

The Gadgeteer was always the second site I check every day (Dilbert is first). I will continue to check it... but it's moved to third... GearDiary is now first. I have an older iPaq PDA and a cell phone... but I would absolutely LOVE to have a device like this that enabled me to combine things! Either way... I'll continue to check your site "religiously"

Good luck on the new site - and if you can find out when oh when HTC (or someone else) will put GPS into a Hermes spec. phone then you will have an eternal fan. It is the only thing stopping me from changing from my JasJar - I just know that HTC will announce a GPS version the day after I buy a Hermes. Of course, if you want to send me one to keep me going until there is such an announcement then that will be fine by my. All the best with the site

Dear Judie, thanks for this contest, this new blog site and also your many years of gadget reviews.

As I stare at my computer screen, I cannot help but thinking: Are you going to use a random number generator to pick the winner? Or close your eyes and point at one of the 100+ posts? Hi, Judie. I know I'm repeating what everyone else has said, but great site and great review! The Hermes sounds like mobile heaven compared to what I carry around on a daily basis: an HP iPAQ 5550 with no working WiFi or Bluetooth, Motorola T720, and Pentax Optio 555! (And my husband wonders why my purse weighs so much!) I've been eyeing the HTCs for a while because of the sliding keyboards. Your detailed review has really convinced me that I would like the HTC much better than the Palm 700s everyone at my office has.

Hey Judie! I've been reading The Gadgeteer for years now, ever since my first iPAQ (the original!)...congratulations on the new site! I had been using the Hermes predecessor, the Wizard, for a few months before I decided to give it to my father, a physician, who has been loving it with his medical software installed! I, unfortunately, had to downgrade my own phone, and would absolutely get great use out the Hermes! Awesome review by the way...I have been following HTC's devices closely over this past year and they're really making a solid name for themselves.
